Guerrilla marketing
What is guerrilla marketing?
Guerrilla marketing is the use of creative, unexpected and usually low-budget tactics to get attention: street art, stunts, surprising product placements or clever online campaigns. The idea is to compete on ingenuity rather than spend.
Done badly it slides into spam or nuisance; tactics should respect laws, property and community rules.
Why guerrilla marketing matters
Startups cannot outspend big brands, but a memorable idea can spread on its own. The best guerrilla ideas are tied closely to what the product does.
