About the project

Why OpenReach

OpenReach is a free, open-source lead generation tool for you and your AI agent. Find creators, local businesses and the people already talking about your problem, online or on your own server, with every line of code in the open.

What is OpenReach?

OpenReach is an open-source lead generation tool, MIT licensed, that you can use online or self-host with Docker. It covers influencer search, Google Maps leads, brand monitoring and customers in communities, and keeps what you find as lists with outreach statuses.

It is built for people who want leads without a stack of monthly tools: the software costs nothing, and the data you look up is billed per lookup to your own key, under a limit you set. AI agents can use every feature through the OpenReach MCP server, so you can ask Claude or ChatGPT to build a list and save it to your project.

Who it is for

Who OpenReach is for

Three kinds of people use it most, and the same workspace serves all three.

  • Founders and indie makers

You built something and need your first hundred customers, without a sales team or a stack of monthly tools.

    • People asking for what you sell, ranked by intent
    • Every mention of your product, in one feed
    • Creators who reach your audience, with their contacts
  • Agencies and freelancers

You sell to local businesses or run campaigns for clients, and need lists you can trust.

    • Businesses without websites, with few reviews or low ratings, in any city
    • One project per client or campaign, with statuses and notes
    • CSV exports for your CRM
  • Developers and AI builders

You want lead and creator data your code and agents can call, on infrastructure you control.

    • A REST API and an MCP server with every feature
    • MIT licensed: fork it, extend it, ship it
    • One Docker command to run it on your own server

You are in control

What makes OpenReach different

Closed tools decide what you see, where your data goes and what you pay. OpenReach is built the other way round.

  • Open source, all of it

The app, the API and the MCP server are MIT licensed. Nothing is held back for a paid edition, so you can read every line and change what you need.

  • Your data stays yours

Self-host with Docker and your creators, leads and mentions live in your own database. The hosted app runs the same open code.

  • You decide what you spend

OpenReach never charges you. Data is billed per lookup to your own key, every call is listed with its cost, and a monthly limit stops spending past it.

  • Honest by design

No scraping around sites that block it, no automated posting, comments or DMs. OpenReach finds and organises; you reach out as yourself.

AI agents

OpenReach with your AI agent

Connect the agent you already use and it gets the whole workspace: live data, your projects and a place to save its work.

Each project keeps your product’s description, niche words and competitors, so the agent knows your business between sessions. Skills give it a process to follow, and you can change them to match your own.

OpenReach skills for agents

  • Find influencers

Creators in your niche on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, with contacts, shortlisted and saved.

  • Find leads

Businesses on Google Maps that match your pitch, filtered and saved as a lead list.

  • Brand monitor

Where your product is being talked about, and the mentions worth a reply.

  • Find customers

People asking for what you sell, in communities, ranked by intent.

  • Community plan

The subreddits and communities worth being active in, and how to start.

Two ways to run it

Hosted or self-hosted OpenReach

The same code runs both. Pick the one that suits you, and switch whenever you like.

Hosted at openreach.gg

FAQ

OpenReach FAQ

What is OpenReach?

OpenReach is a free, open-source lead generation tool. It finds influencers on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, local businesses on Google Maps, mentions of your brand across communities and people asking for what you sell, and keeps them organised for outreach. Use it online or self-host it with Docker; AI agents can use every feature through its MCP server.

Is OpenReach free?

The software is: MIT licensed, free and unlimited to self-host, and free to use online with every feature unlimited today. Data such as creator profiles and Google Maps results is billed per lookup to your own data key, never by OpenReach. See pricing.

Where does the OpenReach source code live?

On GitHub at github.com/duckduckdeploy/openreach, under the MIT licence.

Are there other tools called OpenReach?

Other projects may use the same or a similar name and are not related to this one. This OpenReach has its code at github.com/duckduckdeploy/openreach.

Does OpenReach work with ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or Gemini to the OpenReach MCP server and your agent can find creators, leads and conversations and save its work to your projects. The MCP setup guide walks through it.

Can I self-host OpenReach?

Yes. One Docker image and one compose file run the database, API, dashboard and site on your PC, a home server or a small cloud server. Every feature is unlocked and unlimited. Read the self-hosting guide.
