Spark Ads
What are Spark Ads?
Spark Ads are a TikTok ad format that promotes an existing organic video instead of a separate ad. With the creator’s authorisation code, a brand can boost a creator’s post; the ad keeps the original account name, likes and comments.
It is TikTok’s form of whitelisting, and the permission is usually time-limited and agreed in the deal.
Why Spark Ads matter
Boosting a post that already performs well organically is a low-risk way to spend ad budget, and engagement from the ad counts toward the original post.
