Promo code
What is a promo code?
A promo code is a word or short code that gives a discount or offer at checkout. In influencer marketing, each creator usually gets their own code (for example ANNA15), so the brand can count sales per creator even when buyers do not click a link.
Codes complement affiliate links: people who watch a video on TV or a phone often type the code later instead of clicking.
Why a promo code matters
Codes give the audience a reason to buy now and give the brand a simple way to measure each partnership. Codes do leak to coupon sites, so treat the numbers as a strong signal rather than exact attribution.
