Waitlist
What is a waitlist?
A waitlist is a list of people who signed up to be told when a product launches or to get early access. It is usually a simple landing page with a short description and an email field, sometimes with referral incentives to move up the list.
Why a waitlist matters
A waitlist tests demand before building much, and gives you an audience on launch day. The quality of sign-ups matters more than the number.
