Technographics
What are technographics?
Technographics are data about the software and technology a company uses: its website platform, e-commerce system, CRM, analytics, hosting and so on. They are usually detected from the company’s website or from public sources.
They complement firmographics: firmographics say what a company is, technographics say what it runs.
Why technographics matter
Technology choices reveal fit and timing. A shop on a certain platform can use a plugin built for it; a company using a competitor may be ready to switch.
